Shadow Of The Sun (DSM 2)

31 07 2008

Before I get to the poem, two things.

One: I was suppose to post a simulcast op-ed today, however due to some personal issues it will be posted on Friday Morning

Two: Don’t be afraid to check me out on Pownce, and read my play by play whimsical ramblings.

True beauty is so hard to come by
But so easy to appreciate once gone
Beings absent of its balance
Deprived of its pure touch
Appreciating what’s not there

Just ask the lonely men
Admiring the gentleness of a woman
Despite being devoid of her scent and taste
Her being, only a faint touch
Her memory, fading into the abyss of mind
Willowing away in the winds of time.
