Mitochondria poems

25 01 2008

The second series of poems that have been written since Centre Of Gravity.

As you can tell, I’m really into Nine Inch Nails

Non Denominational Poem

I choose my own illusions
Of grandeur and prowess
Strewn across open plains
Covering the bare mother
Saving her from our demise

Mitochondria
Child of sodomy sits
The petals ripped off his virginity
Concealing the essence of innocence
While zealots and madmen pick at its flesh
Children of men wage vicious battles
Where two lovers once fucked
Tattered and torn by the impurest of purities
While singing the songs of redemption
